Bol is a sandy-bottom beach break located in Bol, Brač Island, Croatia, offering a left-hander along Croatia's coastline. Bol is home to Croatia's famous Zlatni Rat beach—a stunning golden horn of pebbles that shifts shape with currents and storms. Best Conditions

Swell Direction: The ideal swell direction is S (180°), with workable conditions from SSE to SW (150°–220°). Swells outside this window will either miss the break or produce disorganized waves.

Swell Size: Bol needs a minimum of 1m / 3ft to start working and handles swells up to 2m / 7ft before conditions deteriorate.

Swell Period: Look for a swell period of at least 6 seconds, with 9 seconds being the sweet spot. Longer periods deliver more organized, powerful waves with better shape.

Wind: True offshore here blows from the N (0°). The full offshore range spans NNW to NNE (330°–30°). Glassy conditions under 4km/h from any direction also produce excellent surf. Plan for sessions throughout the day.
