Groomed Conditions Bonus
Days of prior offshore wind create clean, groomed conditions. The score reflects this hidden quality factor.
Morning Sickness Penalty
Days of onshore wind leave residual chop even when wind turns offshore. We account for this lag.
Confidence scoring: Forecasts become less reliable over time. Day 1 forecasts are weighted at 100% confidence, decreasing to 62% by day 10. The score reflects this uncertainty.
