Punto La Gillette
Punto La Gillette is the gnarliest wave in Venezuela—a shallow coral slab in the remote Los Roques archipelago that produces fast, thick right barrels when solid north swells slam into the outer reef. The turquoise water and white-sand cays create a paradise setting, but make no mistake: this wave is heavy, shallow, and unforgiving. Boat access only adds to the adventure.
